BEC考试对国内国际商务英语测试设计的借鉴作用

The Implications of BEC Design for Business English Testing in China

国内商务英语教学界正致力于商务英语类型考试的开发设计,BEC考试为这一领域的研究提供了一个值得学习借鉴的范例。本文以BEC中级考试为例,在探讨其交际性测试理论的基础上,从考试内容和题型设计两个方面分析了交际性测试的特征,并以此为基础提出对我国设计商务英语类型考试的参考建议。

With their satisfactory validity and reliability, the Business English Certificates （BEC） are internationally recognized as a suitable qualification for business use. Taking BEC Vantage as an example, this paper analyzes its features from the perspectives of theoretical background and test specifications, including test content and task types. Based on the analysis, it proposes some suggestions on how to design the tests of business English.
