关于英语一词多义对联教学法的构想

The Conception of the Chinese Antithetical Couplet-based Methodology for English Polysemy

经过恰当措辞后的汉语对联,可以同时容纳英语同一单词的两种或多种不同含义,因而可成为掌握英语一词多义的重要辅助手段,有利于提高学习者对英语词汇多义现象的学习兴趣与效率。本文以此为出发点,提出了英语一词多义对联教学法。全文对该方法的可行性、构成模式以及对联编写原则等分别进行了探讨。

The properly worded Chinese antithetical couplet, capable of the simultaneous inclusion of two or more meanings of the same English word, makes an important assistant means for the mastery of English polysemy, which sharpens the learner＇s interest in English polysemy and improves their learning efficiency. On the basis of such a thought, this article advances a new teaching methodology, i.e., the Chinese Antithetical Couplet-based Methodology for English Polysemy. The exploration includes the feasibility of such a methodology, its mode of formation and the principles for guiding the production of couplets of this kind.
