吕思勉的史学方法论

Lv Simian's Historical Methodology

吕思勉将史学研究过程分为三个阶段。他认为治史应重常人常事,不宜预设成见,应注意学与术的区别,要学会中外比较的方法。治史要坚持史学进化论,了解经济基础决定社会的发展变化这一道理,明白物质文明的发达对国家历史发展的影响,杜绝盲目的崇古观念。这些史学方法论对当代的史学研究仍具有指导意义。

Lv Simian divided the process of doing historical research into three stages. He believed that historians should valuate ordinary people and ordinary affairs, reject preinstalled prejudice and pay attention to the difference between learning and academy. He thought that a historian must know how to make comparisons and adhere to the theory of evolution, understand the rule that economic base determines social development. He thought that the development of material culture is significant, and a historian should reject the blind worship of the ancient.
