摘要
As a representative of the development and application of information and communication technob ogy （ICr）, the Internet of Things （loT） has attracted world attention. However, the effect of loT on economic growth has not been fully explored. This paper analyzes this issue from the perspective of ICT investment. After analyzing the data of eight representative provinces from 1996 to 2008, we f＇md out that the effect of ICT investment on e- conomic growth is limited and the levels of telecom- munications infrastructure and education are key factors influencing the effect. Thus it＇s necessary to further improve the telecommunications infrastructure and enhance related education and training to promote the effect of loT on economic growth.
