American Multicultural Teaching and Its Lessons to China's Rural School Teaching

摘要 多元文化教学是美国现代学校教学的一种基本取向,无论在教学目标的制定上,还是在教学内容和教学策略的选择上,它都凸显多元化特质。美国多元文化教学给我国乡村学校教学颇具鉴益:教学目标上,培养适合新农村经济与社会文化发展的有教养的文化人;教学内容上,建构富有灵活性和选择性的乡村学校课程文化体系,做到地方特色和普世价值的和谐统一;教学策略上,重建新型式教学文化,促使乡村学生多维能力的培养。 Multicultural teaching is a basic orientation of American modern teaching.Whether in setting teaching goal or in the choice of teaching contents and teaching strategy,it has highlighted the diverse characteristics.American multicultural teaching have certain reference to China's rural teaching which manifested as follows: in the aspect of teaching goal,cultivating the educated intellectuals matched with development of new rural economy and social culture;in the aspect of teaching contents,constructing flexible and selective rural school curriculum cultural system and make the local characteristics and universal values to achieve the harmonious unity;in the aspect of teaching strategies,reconstructing new teaching culture to cultivate student's multi-dimensional ability.
