橡胶犀金龟兰屿亚种的生物学特性与人工养殖

Biological Characteristics and Artificial Culture of Xylotrupes gideon kaszabi

为更好地开发利用橡胶犀金龟兰屿亚种(Xylotrupes gideon kaszabi),记述了其形态特征及生物学特性,并进行了人工养殖试验。结果表明,在昆明人工养殖1年1代,以幼虫越冬;成虫于7月初出现,取食成熟水果,在腐植土中产卵;幼虫3龄,取食腐植土;在腐植土中化蛹,腐植土质量影响成虫个体大小和角突;保持蛹期腐植土适当湿度是养殖的关键。

The morphological and biological characteristics of Xylotrupes gideon kaszabi were introduced to further develop and utilize Xylotrupes gideon kaszabi.The results from the artificial culture of Xylotrupes gideon kaszabi show that there is only one generation in a year under the condition of artificial culture in Kunming,they live through the winter at larvae stage,adults emerge in the beginning of July,adults suck ripe fruits and lay eggs in humus soil,there are three instars in larva stage,larvae suck humus soil and pupate in humus soil.The quality of humus soil has the important effect on its adult body size and processus angularis.The key culture measure is keeping proper humidity at its pupa stage
