摘要
《聊斋志异》的"耳中人"篇记录了淄川邑谭晋玄在练功时耳中出三寸小人的事迹,此记录虽然看似荒诞玄奇,却有其较为明确的本事来源。首先在历史上确有修真之士谭晋玄其人;其次文中所载细节与道教的"守庚申"(斩三尸)方术大致吻合;再次耳中钻出"三寸小人"可以归入心理学中所说的"幻视"现象。"耳中人"篇所载事迹当非空穴来风。
The ＂Man in Ears＂ in the Strange Tales of a Lonely Studio（a classic literature work with a collection of about 500 stories by PU Song-ling of the Qing Dynasty） sounds absurd,but we can find special gist for it.Firstly,there was TAN Jin-xuan in the history;secondly,the story tallies with the guarding in gengshen（or chopping three carcass） in magic arts;thirdly,the heteroptics in the psychology can explain the phenomenon.So the ＂Man in Ears＂ stands a good chance to be true.
