新中国中学化学教科书60年的发展过程大致经历建国初期17年"以苏为师"转向自编本土化化学教科书的探索过程;文革时期以三大革命为出发编写实用化学教科书的颠覆过程;改革开放后从"一纲一本"向"一纲多本"过渡,从关注知识到培养素养的化学教科书重建过程;以及21世纪的化学教科书从形式到内容的突破和创新过程。

New China 60 years＇development of middle school chemistry textbook experienced the change from＂learning from Russia＂for 17 years in the early days of the republic to a period of exploring self-compiling chemistry textbooks;experienced the process of compiling the practical chemistry textbooks based solely on the＂Three Revolutions＂during the Cultural Revolution;experienced the transition from the＂one standard,one version of textbook＂to＂one standard,multiple versions of textbook＂,the process of paying attention to literacy knowledge then to the reconstruction of chemistry textbook which focus on literacy training after reform and opening up;and experienced the breakthroughs and innovation process of Chemistry textbooks＇content and form in 21st century.
