This paper, through analyzing the risks related to the trarsport of pottery clay in bulk by ships, explores the fimess of the cargo and ship, appropriate stowage and scientific control roeasures. It clarifies the resporsibilifies of the shipper, carrier and port and also puts forwards some suggestions on long-term effective management.
