在夜视系统中,红外图像可以提供可将光图像没有的信息,但是红外图像又缺少许多可视化的重要特征.图像融合技术能够融合具有相关信息的红外图像和可将光图像.本文中提出了一种基于小波变换的图像融合技术,并且运用此技术做了相关的图像融合试验.

Infrared images can often provide information missing in visible images in a night driving systerm,but infrared images lack key features needed to operate a vehicle.Image fusion techniques can be used to combine the relevant information from both the visible and infrared images.In this paper we present a image fusion techniques based on the Wavelet Transform and apply the technique to combine images from cameras oprating in different wavelenth bands.
