Clinical Research on Prescription and Syndrome of Qianyang Fengsui Dan

潜阳封髓丹出自火神派创始人郑钦安《医理真传》卷二,由附子、砂仁、龟板、甘草四味药物组成,主治对象为阳虚而向外浮越之证,其内在实质为阴盛。该方抓住肾水虚寒,相火越位,即下寒上热这一病机特征而精心设计,达到温命门之水寒,潜上越之浮阳,即引火归元之目的。

Qianyang Fengsui Dan, from the founder of Fire School Zheng Qinan＇ s Principles of Medical Science, Volume H, is composed of four herbal medicines： tuber, amomum, turtle shell and licorice. Its indication is the syndrome of yang deficiency outward dispersion with yin excess. The prescription is well-designed for the deficiency and cold of kidney-water and the outward dispersion of the ministerial fire. Its purpose is to warm the cold of life gate, soothe the dispersion of floating yang.
