Entering the poetic world as ＂H.D.,the Imagist＂,Hilda Doolittle retold the ancient Greek Myths and reinterpreted the classic female mythical image of Helen that was distorted in the works by male writers from a unique female perspective in order to demonstrate that language has been the device with which patriarchy oppresses women and that it is also the weapons with which women can fight back.And her ultimate vision,therefore,is to create a myth that women can call their own.
