摘要
论述了用横向错移法测量单模光纤模场直径的测量原理、测量装置和测量结果,该方法是国际电信电报咨询委员会(CCITT)所推荐的单模光纤模场直径测量方法之一。本套测量装置具有位移测量准确,系统稳定度高和自动化程度高等优点。对一系列光纤样品所作的测试与连续变孔径法(远场法)测量值的比对表明。
The principles and devices of the offset joint method for the measurement of mode field diameter of single mode fibers, which is one of the recommendations by CCITT, are described, and the experimental results are presented. This method has the advantages such as high accuracy of displacement measurement, high stability and high level of automation. It has been shown that, the measurement uncertainties are less than 3% for different kinds of fiber samples at 1 3μm and 1 5μm. Compared with the continuous aperture variable far field method, the consistency between these two methods is better than 3%.
