With the development of real estate market,real estate surveying and mapping has attracted the society＇s more and more attention.This paper 1） elaborated the location and management of real estate surveying and mapping through its aspects of purpose and content,2）commentated the deficiency of the technology standard of real estate surveying and mapping and the inconsistency of the different standards,and 3） pointed out that the involved departments in real estate surveying and mapping should provide necessary cooperation.
