Discussion on Map Labeling and Map Annotation

地图注记是地图内容的重要组成部分,是一种地图语言,是对地图内容的解释,是一种原始的表达方式。随着计算机技术的发展,研究人员提出了另一种表达——地图标注。通过对地图注记和地图标注的内容进行相应的分析、比较,认为地图标注是计算机环境下地图注记的表现形式,是地图注记的另一种表现形式。

Map annotation is an important part of map contents,it＇s a language of map and an interpretation of map content,also a kind of primitive expression.However,with the development of computer technology,researchers proposed another expression,it＇s Map Labeling.This paper considered that map labeling is a performance form of map annotation in the computer environment and an another expression form of map annotation by analyzing and comparing the content of map annotation and map labeling.
