To study the role of cooperative learning on students＇ learning performance in botany, the teaching method of preparation content designed and panel discussion was used in the study. The result indicated that the teaching method could construct a light - hearted teaching atmosphere, improve the interest of students on botany. The learning method could bring up the ability of cooperative learning, and promote the construct of knowledge in botany. The grade of student was significantly improved by the teaching method. The teaching method also showed a important role in teacher. The teacher could deepen understanding curriculum content by the teaching method, and improve the teaching effect.
