摘要
认知语言学认为习语是人们概念体系的产物，是在概念隐喻、概念转喻和规约常识的基础上产生的。英语人体部位词习语反映了英语民族通过身体的感知逐步了解世界的过程，是有理有据的，本文通过上述三种认知机制对英语人体部位词习语进行分析，揭示人体部位词习语的认知性理据。
The cognitive linguistics believes that the idioms are the products of our conceptual system, and are based on conceptual metaphor, conceptual metonymy and conventional knowledge. English bodyrelated idioms reflect the process of understanding the world by using body parts in English countries. The paper analyses idioms from the cognitive perspective in order to fully understand the body-related idioms.
