On Translation of Mozi in the Context of Cultural Globalization

在文化全球化的背景下,中国传统文化典籍日益受到全世界的瞩目。《墨子》蕴藏着丰富的墨家文化信息,具有很高的思想价值和艺术价值。《墨子》典籍外译取得了一定的成就,促进了西方读者对中国墨家文化的了解和接受,但其间也存在某些不足。作为文化传播工作者,要努力克服这些不足,进一步加强和促进《墨子》典籍的外译工作,弘扬墨家文化。

The context of cultural globalization has popularized traditional Chinese classics throughout the world.A crystalization of Mozism,Mozi contains abundance of Chinese cultural messages and has a high value in art and ideology.Its translation has enabled the Western readers to have an easy access to Mozism.However,there still exists some imperfection in the process.Against the background of cultural globalization,more efforts need to be made to promote the translation of Mozi,which will make Mozism more popular and make an contribution to the cultural exchanges between China and the West.
