We will consider an extension of a direct method due to Griewank and Beddien for the computation of symuietry-btenking Takens-Bogdanov points. The method eonld prodnee a small extruded system which cloes not introdnce the null vectors as variables. and therefore could reduce the computational effert and storage. One unmerical example is presented to demonstrate that the method is efficient.
