基于DHT的移动性管理机制的性能分析

摘要 在移动性管理研究中有一类基于对等网络的管理机制,却缺少对此类机制的系统分析和评估。该文首先通过分析对等网络与移动性管理的异同,说明对等网络对移动性管理的借鉴价值在于基于分布式散列表的信息散布方式。然后关注该类机制的基本性能、负载均衡性和可扩展性,提出了性能分析模型,并将此类机制与传统移动IP机制比较。最后通过仿真定量分析系统参数对机制性能的影响。结果表明:基于分布式散列表的移动性管理机制在负载均衡性和用户规模可扩展性方面优于传统机制,但在查询性能和网络规模可扩展性方面存在不足;减少Overlay拓扑与物理拓扑的不一致对移动性管理的影响是此类机制设计的关键。 Peer-to-peer(P2P) based management schemes have been used for mobility management,but there have been no systemic analyses of such schemes.This study analyzes the similarities and differences of P2P network and mobility management systems to show that the value of P2P networks for mobility management is distributed hash table(DHT) based information spreading.A performance analysis model is used to compare the performance,load balancing and scalability of such schemes with the traditional mobile Internet protocol(IP) mechanisms.Simulations of the effects of the system parameters on the system performance show that DHT-based mobility management schemes improve the load balancing and user scalability compared with traditional mechanisms,but have deficiencies in query properties and network scalability.The key to designing such schemes is to reduce the effects of logical inconsistencies and physical topologies on the mobility management.
