论《新五代史》的士人观

On the Value Orientation of Scholars Recorded in New History of the Five Dynasties

《新五代史》成书于北宋,而其士人观则有"当世"关怀。该书体例和各类人物评价体现了欧阳修以"廉耻"为核心的五代士人观,这一价值观摄取孟子的心性思想,因五代士人无耻无愧,使士人观体现了以耻为主的价值偏向;《新五代史》的士人观体现了欧阳修的易学历史观。在五代轻士和宋代重士的历史演进的过程中,欧阳修《新五代史》的士人观,推动了宋代士人的精神气质的形成,这对宋代斯文之盛具有重要意义,从而也证明了士正文必兴的文化逻辑。

This paper discusses the value orientation of scholars recorded in New History of the Five Dynasties.It suggests that the style and comments in the book reflects the core of the value orientation of scholars in Five Dynasties——'Sense of Shame',with Ouyang Xiu as its representative figure.This value orientation was of great significance to the scholarly prosperity of Song dynasty and proved the cultural logic:upright scholars produce fine articles.
