摘要
研究输入信号功率对掺铒光纤放大器(EDFA)增益斜率的影响,可为EDFA的优化设计提供理论参考。采用了实验分析和数值模拟两种方法,在EDF长度为14m,输入波长为1530~1562nm,泵浦光功率为400mW时,对输入信号功率为-5~5dBm的EDFA增益斜率进行了对比,发现随着输入信号功率的增大,增益斜率也逐渐增大,并且数值模拟结果与实验结果相一致。
Studying the effect of input signal power on EDFA gain slope can provide the optimization of EDFA with theoretical reference.Both experimental analysis and numerical simulation are applied to compare the EDFA gain slopes in the conditions of 14m of EDF length,1 530~1562 nm of input wavelength,40 mW of pumping power,and-5~5dBm of input signal power,it is found that with the increase of input signal power,the gain slope is increased gradually,and the results of numerical simulation and experimental analysis are agree well.
