5 basic criteria on image evaluation criterion system of optical systems and functional relations between them are presented in the paper.It indicated that,other criteria on image evaluation can be derived from 5 basic criteria.Recently,some criteria based on MTF are widely used in every field,and presented in the paper.It indicated that too,one of recent research items on image evaluation is studied to explicit function between MTF and wave or geometric aberration.
