利用非线性光学环路镜实现非归零码脉冲到归零码脉冲的变换 被引量:4

Realizing NRZ to RZ Conversion Based on Nonlinear Optical Loop Mirror

摘要 利用非线性光学环路镜( N O L M)成功地实现了非归零( N R Z)脉冲向归零( R Z)脉冲的变换。实验中采用增益开关激光器产生的超短光脉冲作为控制光,锁模激光器输出光经外调制后得到的光作为信号光。对变换信号采用时分复用( T D M)方式得到了20 G Hz 光信号。 NRZ to RZ conversion was achieved based on the nonlinear optical loop mirror(NOLM).The gain switched distributed feedback diode laser(GS DFB LD) was used as the control optical source,the modelocked laser was used as the signal source.The experimental results showed that the pulse width of the converted signal was narrower than that of the control pulse.The optical pulse with the repetitive frequency of 20 GHz was achieved using the technology of the time multiplexer.
