摘要
研究Nb元素掺杂对Zr基块体金属玻璃非晶形成能力与显微硬度的影响。采用水淬法制备直径13mm、长度为50~70mm的Zr基块体金属玻璃。金属玻璃成分为(Zr41.2Ti13.8Cu12.5Ni10Be22.5)100-xNbx(x=0,0.1,1,2,3,5)。当Nb元素掺杂量x=5时,XRD和DSC证实所制备样品仍为全非晶。少量Nb的掺杂(x=1)能够显著提高合金的玻璃形成能力(GFA),合金的过冷液相区宽度由掺杂前的77℃提高到90℃。适量Nb元素的掺杂同时会造成金属玻璃显微硬度的提高。非晶晶化途径的改变是造成BMG热稳定性和玻璃形成能力提高的主要原因。
The effect of Nb element on the glass forming ability and microhardness of Zr-based bulk metallic glasses is investigated.Rods with the composition of(Zr41.2Ti13.8Cu12.5Ni10Be22.5)100-xNbx(x=0,0.1,1,2,3,5) are prepared with water quenching method in quartz tubes.The size of specimen is 13mm in diameter and 50-70mm in length.Confirmed by XRD and DSC,all specimen are fully amorphous,even though the Nb quantity reaches to x=5.A small amount of addition of Nb(x=1) can improve the glass forming ability of this alloy system remarkably as well as the microhardness.The width of supercooled liquid region of(Zr41.2Ti13.8Cu12.5Ni10Be22.5)99Nb is improved from 77℃ of Vit1 alloy to 90℃.Diversification of crystallization approach is due to the enhancement of thermal stability and glass forming ability.
