摘要
20世纪80年代以来,台湾的高等教育改革发展走出了一条既借鉴国外先进经验,又符合自身文化传统的创新之路,形成了注重办学理念,突出办学特色;重视多轨并行,促进规模扩张;适应经济发展,调整教育结构;重视教师发展,保证教育质量;加强通识教育,提高学生素质;成立大学系统,增强竞争实力;制订卓越计划,提升教育品质和推动多元评价指导改革发展等特色。
Since the 80＇s of the last century, reform has been made in Taiwan＇s higher education by drawing on foreign experience and sticking to its own cultural tradition. It bears the following characteristics： placing emphasis on school-running idea and features, expanding the scale of higher education with multi-measures, adjusting educational structure to keep pace with the economic development, laying stress on teachers＇ devel- opment to ensure the quality of education, improve students＇ quality by strengthening liberal education, establishing a university system to increase competitiveness, drawing up a plan for excellence to improve educational quality and adopting plural evaluation to guide the reform and development.
