Retrospect and Expectation: Reflections on the Role of College Teachers

大学教师的角色行为不仅影响着大学的声誉,而且影响着大学的前程。目前,大学教师的应扮角色之说主要有"二角色"说和"三角色"说两种。在此基础上,结合当下大学教师的社会地位及其职业特点,进一步将大学教师的理想角色定位为"知识分子之柱"、"教书育人之范"、"科学研究之星"三者的整合体。

College teachers＇ behavior exerts influence on the reputation and the future of their school. At present, teachers are usually thought to have ＂two roles＂ or ＂three roles＂. Starting from this assumption, this paper, according to their social position and career features, assign three functions to college teachers, namely the ＂backbone of intellectuals＂, the ＂example in imparting knowledge and educating people＂, and the ＂starin scientific research＂.
