《只争朝夕》涵盖的几个象征性主题与以萨特为代表的存在主义哲学命题有多处暗合。贝娄克服并且超越了现实重压下的悲观态度,反映了他乐观积极的人文信念和对人类超越苦难的信心和希望。
Several existentialism philosophy propositions in Seize the Day nicely coincide with those of existentialism philosophy represented by Sartre. Bellow overcomes and transcends the pessimistic attitudes under the pressure of reality, which shows Bellow＇s optimistic and positive humanistic beliefs and his confidence and wish towards human beings＇ overcoming existential distress.
