Discussion on the treatment of atherosclerosis disease in terms of the concept of treating carbuncle with surgical methods

动脉粥样硬化是血管内皮损伤后的一种慢性炎症性增生性疾病,炎症贯穿于动脉粥样硬化的始终。针对发病机制的转变,根据中医学异病同治理论,从外科治疗痈的理念,指出热毒是动脉粥样硬化的主要危险因素之一,运用清热解毒中药干预动脉粥样硬化,稳定易损斑块。

Atherosclerosis is a chronic inflammatory proliferative disease after the damage of blood vessel endothelium,with inflammation throughout.For the change of pathogenesis,according to the theory of different diseases with the same treatment in TCM,and in terms of the concept of treating carbuncle with surgical methods,heat toxin was pointed out to be one of the main risk factors of atherosclerosis,and intervening atherosclerosis with traditional Chinese medicine of clearing heat and detoxification could stabilize vulnerable plaques.
