摘要与绝对论的非暴力伦理相对,作者认为在应对攻击与暴力中,必须使用各种可能的手段来制止它们。反抗暴力是个人的道德责任。由精神的力量来制止暴力是十分理想的,但如果精神的力量不够强大或侵略者对理性的、精神的和心理的影响麻木不仁,就不得不逐渐采取所有可能的手段。我们需要伦理来为反抗暴力的手段设置限度。
