Rapid Screening and Classification of Positive cDNA Clones Generated by Differential Display

Reverse Northern blot and restriction fingerprinting analysis were conducted to successfully select two true differentially expressed cDNAs out of thirty differential bands. The reliability of the screening procedure was further confirmed by Northern blot analysis using one positive cDNA clone as a probe.
