生态学理论为研究传统手工艺术的生存、发展规律以及保护策略提供了独特的理论视角。在工业文明及其所携带的外来文化的冲击下,传统手工艺术赖以生存的民间文化生态系统发生了改变,文化生态平衡被打破。对于传统手工艺术,"碎片式"的保护是远远不够的,必须研究与它生态环境相关的各个因素,努力为它构建良好的新的文化生态环境。传统手工艺术保护的关键在于使它的生产、消费、传播、供给处于协调状态,各个要素之间的能量流通要畅通无阻并能够互相促动,为此,应贯彻整体文化生态保护的原则,并在理念、管理、操作层面采取诸多有效措施,从而达到保护目的。

Ecological theory offers us a special perspective to study the existence,development and protection of traditional handicrafts.Under the shock from industrial civilization and the foreign cultures coming along with it,the cultural ecological system of traditional handicrafts has been changed and the ecological balance has been disrupted.For traditional handicrafts,it is far from being enough to provide some fragmentary protection.It is necessary to study the various elements of their ecological environment and build a new cultural environment for them.The key to protecting traditional handicrafts lies in harmonizing their production,consumption,dissemination and supply and ensure a smooth and mutually reinforcing circulation of the energies of different elements.For this purpose,we should follow the principle of protecting the entire cultural ecology and take effective measures in terms of awareness,management and operation.
