随着经济全球一体化及我国加入WTO,国外连锁企业加快了进入中国市场的步伐,我国连锁企业面临着越来越严峻的挑战和考验。如果想在激烈的市场竞争中继续保持竞争优势,企业就必须在保证更高客户服务水平的基础上进一步降低物流成本。库存和配送是连锁企业物流系统的核心子系统,两者在成本上存在着此消彼长的关系。因此,连锁企业如果能够将库存和配送两方面的成本统一起来,在两者之间寻求一个平衡点进行库存/配送一体化决策,对于降低连锁企业的物流总成本具有非常重要的意义。
