人口老龄化对我国高等教育产业的影响研究

A Study on the In? uence of Population Aging in Higher Education Industry

进入21世纪后,中国人口结构发生显著变化,人口老龄化程度不断加深,高等教育适龄人口开始逐年下降,我国高等教育产业面临严峻考验。文章回顾了国内学者认为我国高等教育产业仍有较大发展空间的认知误区,继而提出人口老龄化程度加深对高等教育产业产生的影响不容小觑。通过分析人口老龄化对高等教育生源、高等教育经费以及高等教育资源的影响,揭示高等教育产业面临的招生困境、经营危机以及资源配置难题,高等教育产业正受到人口老龄化的巨大冲击。文章最后给出一个简短的结论以及相应的政策建议。

Entering the 21 st century, China population structure has changed significantly. Population aging has deepened, and school-age population of higher education has started to decline. Higher education industry in the country is thus facing a severe test. This paper first reviews some cognitive errors of domestic scholars with their claim that there is still large room for development of higher education industry. It then discusses the influence of the population aging in higher education industry being underestimated, By analyzing the impact of population aging in higher education industry concerning student enrollment, funding and resources, it is clear that higher education industry is facing challenges in college enrollment, management and resources allocation, and that higher education industry is under enormous pressure of population aging. The paper finally gives some corresponding policy recommendations.
