The composing and characteristics of water-based ink are introduced, and from the comparing of water-based ink and solvent-based ink, the superiority and status of water-based ink in the future are expatiated. Meanwhile the current problems and some ways to improve the ink are discussed, and the directions of applications and developments are also put forward.
