This paper introduced the castability data of the low-alloy-cast-iron for sea valve. The tests showed that the castability of the low-alloy-cast-iron approach the grey iron with the same carbon eguivalent. That provided Basic technology data for the production add erpan sion of this cast iron, so the casting guality of the big diameter sea valve for the nuclear power station can be pledged.
