本文通过介绍两位大连本地作家的艺术作品,旨在展示海岸作为海陆交汇处各种生物栖息地的本来面目,也试图揭示这个地带从人与自然相互依存的关系到被压挤成为社会结构日益单一、界面粗暴的"线"的过程。

By taking two native Dalian authors＇ works as examples, this essay first touches the ecological importance of sea shore as the habitats for diverse species, and then makes a sharp critique upon the current coastline planning approach, which often than not will displace all the fishing villages and transform the wide tidal flats into a hard concrete dam.
