马克思、恩格斯具有人与自然和谐相处的思想,而且批判了资本主义生产对自然界不友好的态度,但是他们还没有预见到生态问题在人类社会发展过程中将具有的极端重要性。当今时代的发展要求把"自然资源有限性"的原则加入唯物史观的基本原理,以标志人类社会进入了生产力发展水平达到地球生态系统承载极限的阶段,这使人类面临着进行与社会主义—共产主义革命相交的可持续发展革命的任务。我国当前的对策应是确定适度发展的经济目标,同时在利用市场经济有利于发展社会生产力的优点的同时,限制其在环境保护方面的缺点。

Marx and Engels had the thought of harmonious coexistence between Man and Nature,they had criticized that the capitalist production was not friendly to nature,but they didn＇t foresee the ecological problem would be extreme important in the development of human society.For the request of present era development it should add the principle of natural resources limitation into the basic principle of historical materialism in order to mark the development of human society entering the stage of the level of productivity to the limits of the earth ecosystem bearing,this causes human to face the task of carrying on the socialism-communism revolution and the sustainable development revolution together.The current countermeasures of our country should fix on the moderate economic development goal,at the same time give full play to the advantages of the market economy is beneficial to the development of social productivity and limit the shortcoming in environmental protection.
