Recent advances in the relationship between BMP-6 and iron-overload osteoporosis

摘要 近年来的研究发现体内铁超载能引起骨质疏松,骨形态生发蛋白6(BMP-6)能上调“铁调素”的表达。因此BMP-6可能在铁超载骨质疏松的恢复过程中起到一定的作用。本文就BMP-6与铁超载骨质疏松关系的最新文献进行综述,旨在为铁超载骨质疏松的进一步研究打下一定基础。 [ Summary] Recent researches have revealed that iron-overload could lead to osteoporosis and bone morphogenetic protein 6 ( BMP-6 ) could enhance the expression of hepcidin. Therefore, it is believed that BMP-6 might play a key role in the treatment of such kind of osteoporosis. This paper focuses on the newest papers regarding the relationship between BMP-6 and iron-overload osteoporosis in order to lay a foundation for further research on the osteoporosis induced by iron overloading.
