After the launch of 0bama Administration, the focus of American Anti-terrorist War was shifted to Afghanistan. In contrast to Bush, 0bama faced a three-fold challenges： rejuvenation of US economy, getting along with party feud and tackling the question of group rise of the emerging powers. The protracted Afghanistan War repeated the strategic disasters of the erstwhile Soviet Union; the chaos caused by the Iraq War continued. The defeat in the mid-term election weakened the power base of Obama, who was already afflicted by both domestic and foreign headaches. In the second decade of the Anti-terrorist War, the Afghanistan War, along with the decay of the economy, will continue to quicken the pace of American decline.
