According to our country's actual situation & current technical level in steam turbine field, and referring to the successful methods used abroad, this paper describes the main methods for increasing flow path thermal efficiency of the small and medium steam turbine. It can give valuable suggestions for old units rebuilt and for new small & medium steam turbine design.
