十七届五中全会提出今后5年经济社会发展的主要目标包括城乡居民收入普遍较快增加。而为了使农民收入较快增加还应立足于提高农业竞争力。实践证明,将现代物流与农业结合,通过利用现代物流理念及技术,加强对农业产前、产中和产后的管理,能够达到提高农业竞争力、繁荣农村经济、增加农民收入的目的。发展现代农业物流,是现阶段我国建设社会主义新农村的一个有效途径。

The Fifth Plenum of the 17th CPC Central Committee proposed the following as the major targets for economic and social development in the next five years： universally raise people＇s incomes at a relatively fast pace.And to make the famers＇ incomes rise at a relatively fast pace,we should keep on enhancing competitiveness of agriculture.The practice proved that combine the modern logistics with agriculture that can enhance the competitiveness of agriculture,promote country economy and increase famers＇ incomes by using the logistics idea and technology and strengthening management of agricultural pre-production,production and after production.To develop modern agricultural logistics is an effective way to build a new socialist countryside in this period.
