《1993年太平洋音乐人类学会议之一:巴布亚新几内亚的音乐习得》五篇论文的中心理念是音乐人类学中有关文化与音乐的"变迁"与"覆盖"的问题,结合我国音乐教育的历史与现状,总结和反思所存在的问题,提出了建构"世界多元文化音乐教育"的意见。

The main content of five papers concerning with ＂One of the Pacific ethnomusicology conference in 1993：Learning about the Music of Papua New Guinea＂ is the problem about the ＂changes＂and ＂covering＂of culture and music.Basing on the history and reality of China＇s music education,sum up and reflect some problems,and further put forward the multi-culture music education.
