一种基于接入网络属性的垂直切换模型

A Vertical Handover Model Based on Attributes of Access Network

提出一种基于接入网络属性触发的垂直切换模型,在此基础上,对垂直切换中的切换概率、掉话率以及切换次数等关键性能进行建模,并利用此模型对已有的一些切换机制(基于接收信号强度、基于距离和接收信号强度结合和基于误比特率和接收信号强度结合的切换机制)进行分析。结果说明该模型不仅设计简单,而且能够有效地评价基于接入网络属性触发的切换机制性能。

A vertical handover model based on attributes of the access network is proposed.It focuses on the probability of handover,probability of dropped calls and handover times of vertical handover schemes.Besides,some classical handover schemes,such as the RSS（Received Signal Strength） based handover scheme,the RSS and distance based handover scheme,RSS and BER（Bit Error Rate） based handover scheme are evaluated and analyzed by using the proposed model.From the results,we can see this model is simply designed and is effective to evaluate the performance of handover schemes.
