一种基于双无线网卡的广义AP间切换算法 被引量:2

A General Inter-AP Handover Algorithm with Dual Wireless Interfaces

摘要 由于目前还不能实现快速自主的AP间切换,限制WiFi在车载Internet等方面的进一步发展和应用。为此,本文基于双无线网卡设计一种广义AP间切换算法TTBC,采用嵌入式系统和Linux开源代码自主研制车载通信网关,并组建狭义和广义AP间切换实验床对该算法进行详细的实验研究与分析。实验结果表明:算法TTBC不仅显著减少甚至消除AP间切换导致的网络中断时间,同时对数据传输带宽也影响甚少,并且可支持车载移动环境下快速自主的AP间切换。 The rapid and autonomous inter-AP handoff problem limits further applications of WiFi in onboard Internet service.Hence,we designed a general inter-AP handoff algorithm called Tic-Toc Bi-Channel(TTBC),which is based on Dual Wireless Interfaces(DWI),and developed a mobile gateway using this algorithm.A series of experiments show that Algorithm TTBC decreases even eliminates the network interruption time,maintains the bandwidth during the pre-and post-handoff process,and supports the rapid and autonomous inter-AP handoff in fast moving scenarios.
