On the Development of Hefei Low-carbon Economy

发展低碳经济是合肥应对资源环境挑战、抢占发展先机的必然选择。面对现有产业结构、能源消费结构、技术支撑、政策等多重因素的约束,合肥必须内外统筹,因势利导,从产业结构低碳化、能源低碳化、城市低碳化、技术创新、政策引导等方面入手,加大工作力度,优化体制机制,走出一条具有合肥特色的发展低碳经济之路。

Development of low-carbon economy is the inevitable choice for Hefei to cope with resources and environmental challenges so as to seize the developing opportunities. With the constraints of the present industrial structure, energy consumption structure, technical support, policy and other multiple factors, Hefei must co-ordinate internally and externally, make the best use of its industrial structure, energy resources, technological innovation, policy and so on, work harder, optimize its system and mechanism, and create a characteristic way for its low-carbon economy.
