Recognition of CHEN Du-xiu's First Great Concession

国民党二大上,中国共产党对国民党右派的让步一般被称为"陈独秀第一次大让步",是国民革命时期陈独秀右倾机会主义的体现。但是现在通过档案资料的分析可以看到,让步政策来自共产国际,陈独秀和中共中央被迫接受,由中共中央执行。作为中国共产党的主要负责人,陈独秀当然要负一定的责任,但大让步政策主要是由共产国际制定的,再加上当时中共是共产国际的一个支部的政治环境下,主要责任在共产国际。

The concession of China Communist Party to the KMT rightists on the Second National Congress of the Kuomintang is generally known as ＂CHEN Du-xiu＇s first great concession＂,and is also the embodiment of his right opportunism during the National Revolution.But,by analyzing the archives,we can see that it is the Communist International that made this concession policy,which CHEN Du-xiu and the CPC Central Committee were forced to accept,and was carried out by the CPC Central Committee.As the principal of the CPC Central Committee,CHEN was responsible without doubts,but the Communist International was chiefly responsible because the concession policy was mainly formulated by the Communist International and the CPC was just a branch of the Communist International at that time.
