张其昀是民国时期著名的史地学家、教育家,他一生中与众多知识分子交往密切。柳诒徵是张其昀的良师益友,对他的影响非常深远。钱穆、张荫麟是张其昀一生的挚友,他们志同道合,共同创办《思想与时代》月刊,弘扬中国传统文化。任美鄂是张其昀的学生,二人经常一起出去考察,一起切磋学问,关系深厚。纵观张其昀1949年前的人际网络,他的好友均对中国传统文化有着深厚感情,共同的志趣将他们紧紧联系在一起。

Zhang Qiyun is a famous historian,geologist and educator in the period of 1912 to 1949 He remains close contacts with many intellectuals through his life.Liu Yizhen is the mentor of Zhang Qiyun,whose influence is fairly profound to him.Qian Mu and Zhang Yinlin are his best friends,and they three are the co-founders of the Thought and Time magazine,with the aim to carry forward the traditional Chinese culture.Ren Mei＇e,one of Zhang Qiyun＇s students,often goes out to do researches with Zhang and disscusses issues with him,sharing a good relationship.Taking an overview of Zhang Qiyun＇s inter-personal network before 1949,his friends are all sharing profound affection to Chinese traditional culture,which links them tightly.
