近年来,随着经济的迅猛发展和全球化进程的不断加快,中德在各个领域的合作日益增多,德语也成了第二外语的热门之一。针对这一现象,一些高职高专院校纷纷为英语专业的学生开设了二外德语课程。英语专业的学生一般都具有良好的英语水平,针对这一特点,在教学中进行适当的德英两种语言的比较,有助于学生了解掌握它们之间的异同,从而在学习德语时触类旁通,举一反三,达到事半功倍的效果。仅从语音和词汇两方面将德语和英语进行归纳和比较,探究如何利用英语辅助二外德语的教学工作。

With the acceleration of globalization,the cooperate between Germany and China expanded into more and more fields.German has becomes one of the hottest second foreign languages and some vocational colleges offered the German course for English major students as a second foreign language.The teachers should make the appropriate comparison between English and German in order to help students to understand the similarities and differences between the two languages.Only do that,can students comprehend by analogy in their Germany study.The paper compares English with German in phonetics and vocabulary and discusses how to use English to assist the teaching of German as a second foreign language.
