Inspired by Bela Tarr＇s movie aesthetics and George Orwell＇s novel ＇Animal Farm＇, Xu Zhe fabricates a convincing geographi- cal environment with documentary photography and ＇records＇ the occurring situation by camera. In fact, the story itself has been dissolved in the scenes. What each audience receives is the most intense expression of absurdity. The world shall be clearer when seen in reverse. This is exactly what Xu Zhe wants to emphasize.
